The SMW team took a fun night out last month to “Raise the Woof” and party with our closest two-legged and four-legged friends at the MSPCA-Angell annual gala for animals in need. Held on October 17 at Cyclorama in the Boston Center for the Arts, we were also psyched to honor the Boston Bruins Foundation (BBF) at this year’s event.

The BBF was recognized with the Noble Award for Humane Philanthropy for their dedication and generosity to the MSPCA.
The BBF produces an annual SMW favorite: the “Pucks and Pups” calendar. Featuring Bruins players with adorable – and adoptable! – dogs from MSPCA shelters, this wildly popular calendar has raised more than $110,000 for MSCPA. We especially love the BBF’s annual “Barking for the Bruins” game, which just started last year and features an adoptable dog zone and a 50/50 raffle, all to benefit animals in need.
